Welcome to my blog! I'd love for you to join me as I explore the world of budgeting, frugalness, and debt payoff! My role models are The Budget Mom and Dave Ramsey who both follow variations of the the snowball method for debt payoff. A little bit about me...I am a full-time working mom of a 6 and 4 year old and a wife to a hard working man. We live in the midwest where it's cold in the winter and hot in the summer and we love it! A little bit about my blog title...We've lived most of our married lives as "normal" people keeping up with the Joneses and tired of it! We're accustomed to this way of life so it came as somewhat as a surprise to me to learn that people were living debt free...what?! how?! So, now that we've realized that we need to do, doing it is the hard part. Becoming debt free is being 100% intentional about what you're doing, however 'reluctant' you may be to do it. I'm 100% new to living frugally, budgeting for me
